Norwegen und Finnland scheint ein gutes Pflaster für mich zu sein. :-) Nach dem zweiten Platz in Trondheim lief es auch am legendären Bakken in Vikersund richtig gut. Wieder ein zweiter Platz und neuer österreichscher Rekord mit 246,5m – einfach genial und ein unbeschreibliches Gefühl so lange in der Luft zu sein!!! Wobei am wichtigsten war natürlich dem Michl den Zimmerrekord abzunehmen. ;-)

Und auch Finnland war absolut eine Reise wert. Nach Platz 11 und 8 in Lahti konnte ich mich beim Springen in Kuopio noch vom 11. Platz im ersten Durchgang auf den 3. Rang kämpfen und gemeinsam mit Michi wieder am Stockerl stehen. Das war wieder richtig cool!! Was Michl allerdings in den letzten Tagen abgezogen hat war unglaublich. 3 Siege in 3 Springen – Hut ab und Gratulation!!

Ich freue mich jetzt schon sehr auf die restlichen Springen in der Saison. Dank der Pause fühle ich mich auch noch richtig gut! Jetzt geht es am Wochenende erst mal direkt in Almaty weiter, bevor noch Wisla, Titisee-Neustadt und dann das große Finale in Planica anstehen. Das werden noch ein paar coole Wochen!

Looks like that Norway and Finland is a good place for me! :-) After the second place in Trondheim, I also could show a very good performance at the legendary Vikersund Bakken. Again a second place and new Austrian record with 246,5m – so awesome and an indescribable feeling to fly through the air for such a long time!!! Whereby the most important fact is that I could take again the room record from Michl. ;-)

And also Finland was definitely worth a journey. After the places 11 and 8 in Lahti, I was able to jump – after a 11th place in the first round – on a third place in Kuopio and therefore could stand on the podium again and this with my room buddy Michi. That was just great!! But I have to say, the show Michl put on the last days was unbelievable. 3 competitions – 3 victories. Hats off and congratulations!!

Now I’m really excited about the remaining competitions of this season. Thanks to the short break, I’m still feeling really fit. This weekend we will directly travel to Almaty and then continue in Wisla, Titisee-Neustadt and eventually finish the season with some ski flying in Planica. So there are still some cool weeks coming up!
