Die Tournee ist fast schon wieder vergessen. Der „Weltcupalltag“ hat uns wieder. Leider musste ich Zakopane Grippebedingt auslassen, was mich natürlich sehr geärgert hat, aber wenn der Körper eine Pause verlangt, dann muss das eben sein.

Ansonsten waren die letzten Wochen wieder richtig genial. Drei Mal am Podest und ein 4ter Platz. Das kann sich durchaus sehen lassen! Es ist auch toll Gregor wieder im Team zu haben und unsere momentane Leistung im Team ist echt super! Willingen hat das absolut bewiesen mit dem 2ten Platz im Team und zu viert in den Top Sieben!

Jetzt steht das erste Skifliegen der Saison auf dem Programm auf das mich schon sehr freue! Im Anschluss geht’s nach Asien. Zum einen nach Japan und zum anderen zur Generalprobe der Olympischen Spiele 2018 in PyeongChang. Und dann kommt natürlich noch die WM in Lahti. Es wird uns also nicht langweilig. ;-)

Also drückt weiter die Daumen und ich geb weiter Gas! ;-)

The 4 Hills Tournament already lies some weeks behind us and we are back in the “daily world cup routine”. Unfortunately I had to skip the competitions in Zakopane due to an acute viral rhinopharyngitis. Of course I was very annoyed but when the body requests this break, you have to deal with it.

Apart from that I had some really great weeks. 3 times on the podium and a fourth place. I guess that’s nothing to sneeze at. What’s also great is Gregor’s comeback and our current team performance. With a 2nd place in the team competition in Willingen and as a group of fourth in the Top seven is enough proving.

Now we have our first ski flying competition of this season on our schedule to which I’m very much looking forward to. Then we’re heading to Asia. First Japan, and then to the hill of the next Olympic Games 2018 in PyeongChang. And then we have also the World Championships in Lahti. So it won’t get boring in the next time. ;-)

So keep your fingers crossed and I will keep on fighting! ;-)
